Mapei Stadium

A perfect example of a modern state of the art stadium, the Mapei Stadium – Città del Tricolore has hosted the home games of Sassuolo Calcio since the 2013/2014 Serie A season. It is the second privately owned stadium in Italy, known for the quality of the services offered and the hosting of events all year round.

PROJECT

The structure situated to the north of Reggio Emilia was built following an English like model; the stands are close to the pitch offering spectators maximum comfort and great vision of the action for all seats.

Mapei has already carried out various works to re-modernize the stadium and will continue to do so with a series of on-going projects not only regarding the field of play and the areas dedicated to the teams but also internal spaces dedicated to various activities that together with the stadium atmosphere place the guest-fan at the center of an exclusive experience.

Thanks to these improvements, the stadium has already demonstrated its ability to host top level sports events and aims to become an important meeting point for the local community. In fact the Mapei Stadium is strategically placed in an area both commercially alive and well connected to the city center.
