U.S. Sassuolo Calcio announces the signing of Sebastiano Esposito (striker, 2002) from Cagliari, on loan with option to buy until June 30 2027.<\/p>\n
Born in Castellammare di Stabia, Sebastiano starts at a very young age at Club Napoli, with football with his brothers, but in 2011 his family moves to Northern Italy and they spend 3 years in Brescia’s youth sector.<\/p>\n
He joins Inter<\/strong> in 2014 and makes himself known, debuting with the Under 19 at just 16. A In March 2019 his first appearence with the First Team in the Europa League arrives, and the 2019\/20 season he remains with the Serie A side, playing in the Champions League<\/strong> first (youngest player for Inter in the competition) and in the league second, becoming its first 2002 player ever. His first time in the starting 11 is dated 21st December 2019, at the San Siro against Genoa, and Sebastiano scores his first. <\/p>\n In the 20\/21 season he joins on loan Spal and then Venezia, a side with which he gains promotion to the Serie A. The next year Esposito goes to Basel, 34 games and 7 goals, and for the first part of the following to Anderlecht and then to Bari, where he scores on his debut. After 15 games, 4 goals e 2 assists, in the 23\/24 season Sebastiano joins Sampdoria, where in 23 matches he finds the net 6 times and provides 6 assists. <\/p>\n In 2024 Esposito comes back to Serie A, at Empoli: after debuting with a goal in Coppa Italia<\/strong>, he scores other 9 in 37 games.
