The Primavera 1 Women Scudetto Final took place at the Ricci Stadium, where Sassuolo, led by Head Coach Davide Balugani, faced Milan in a rematch of the 2023/2024 final.
Sassuolo started brightly, with Azzena setting up Andersone early on, whose left-footed effort went just over the bar. Stanić later recovered possession high up the pitch and crossed for Touré, whose header missed the target.
Milan threatened from a corner in the 12th minute, but Mino made an excellent save. Sassuolo came close again through Vianello, whose powerful strike hit the crossbar.
Milan took the lead in the 23rd minute following a corner, with Vitale scoring after a rebound.
Sassuolo pushed for an equalizer, with Azzena testing Belloli from distance before halftime.
Early in the second half, Sassuolo equalized: Guerzoni’s cross was cleared, but Vianello struck a stunning volley from the edge of the box into the top corner for 1-1.
Milan regained the lead through Strauss just after the hour mark.
Sassuolo kept pushing and found a dramatic equalizer in stoppage time: Andersone controlled the ball, beat her defender, and scored with a left-footed strike to make it 2-2 in the 92nd minute.
After extra time, the final was decided on penalties, where Milan prevailed 6-4.
