U.S. Sassuolo Calcio is pleased to announce that an agreement with Salvatore Colantuono to extend his contract, which will keep him at the club until 30 June 2027, has been reached.

Having joined the neroverdi in January 2026, mister Colantuono took charge of the Women’s First Team midway through the current season, helping them secure their place in the Serie A Women.

Born in 1977, the manager joined Sassuolo following spells in Parma – with whom he secured promotion to Serie A at the end of the 2024/25 season – and Cittadella Women, where he was awarded the Panchina d’Argento for his achievements in the Serie B championship.

Salvatore Colantuono commented: “I am honoured to continue my journey at Sassuolo; I am proud to represent this club. I would like to thank the Squinzi family, President Carlo Rossi and Director Alessandro Terzi for their trust; I will give my all for these colours.”

The manager’s contract extension represents a sign of continuity for the Women’s First Team’s technical project ahead of the 2026/27 season.
