U.S. Sassuolo Calcio announces the signing of Rafel Obrador (defender, 2004) from SL Benfica, on loan with option to buy until June 30 2027.

Spanish full-back, born in Campos (Island of Mallorca), grows in the youth sectors of CE Campos and RCD Mallorca. With the spanish Club, debuted on La Liga at sixteen years old.

In 2020 he transfers to Real Madrid. He also plays for Castilla (68 games and 6 assists in two seasons), Deportivo La Coruña (34 games and 1 assists in one season) and Benfica. Joins the neroverdi after one season with Torino with 17 games, 1 goal e 3 assists. He also has 5 appearances and one assist with the Spain U21 National Team.
