U.S. Sassuolo Calcio announces the signing of Ignace Van der Brempt (defender, 2002) from Como 1907, on loan with obligation to buy under certain conditions – until June 30 2027.

Born in Antwerp, Ignace begins with football in his hometown before joining KV Mechelen until 15, when he got a call from Club Brugge.

After playing in the Viareggio Cup in 2018, historical tournament for youth football, reachiung the semifinals. The debut with the first team arrives the following season against Cercle Brugge, and one year later Ignace plays in the Champions League and the Europa League: he also scores 2 goals with the Under 23 and one in the Jupiler Pro League, a championship that Van der Brempt and Brugge won.

After 36 games, in January 2022 Salzburg ensures the player and together they win 2 leagues, and in the 23/24 season the full back joins Hamburg: between 2.
