U.S. Sassuolo Calcio firmly believes in the social function of sport and considers football to be a tool for training, education, and socialization for athletes who are interested in this sport.
Generazione S is an innovative, free, and social responsibility project dedicated to all young athletes, with the aim of promoting sporting and personal growth by sharing the values and methodologies of Sassuolo Calcio.
The project is aimed at all men’s and women’s sports clubs throughout Italy, offering free programs to share activities, events, and training courses.
We want to bring the culture of Sassuolo to smaller sports clubs, which need support, and to associations that share our Values.
We want to bring concrete and innovative educational projects where there is a lack and a need, because football and sport are the best vehicles for making today's young people the best men and women of tomorrow and for inspiring young people.
The project’s slogan, “To grow up, you need passion,” perfectly encapsulates the spirit of Generazione S: it is not just about football, but about a comprehensive educational program to accompany young people on a journey of personal growth even before their sporting development.
The “Charter of Values” is at the heart of the project, a document that represents all the moral and ethical features of Sassuolo Calcio and i used as a reference point for all activities and people involved in Generazione S.
The three areas of the project
Educational
Generazione S is divided into three thematic areas — Educational, Experience, and Academy — each with specific objectives and dedicated tools to accompany young people and sports clubs on a shared path of growth.
Conferences
Generazione S offers sports clubs participating in the project the opportunity to attend conferences held at Mapei Stadium. Led by professionals and teachers, aimed at instructors, coaches, managers and parents, these training courses cover topics related to sports and social education, providing valuable support for the training of young people:
- Technical and tactical aspects
- Training methodology
- Food education and nutrition
- Sports psychology
- Psycho-physical well-being
Social responsibility
Sassuolo Calcio has always been very active and involved in all activities promoting social inclusion and cohesion, all of which are strongly supported by the club’s owners. Football becomes a tool for promoting these values and a vehicle for educating young people, enhancing their skills and inspiring their dreams.
Experience
The Experience area offers unique and engaging activities, coordinated by Sassuolo Calcio professionals.

Discounted tickets for all Sassuolo Calcio home games and exclusive experiences such as visiting Mapei Stadium before the match and watching the teams’ arrival.
Sassuolo Camp
Sassuolo Calcio aims to be a point of reference for families during the summer, combining football with a range of activities and experiences that help children grow and interact with their peers in a peaceful, exciting, and stimulating environment. Weeks full of excitement, fun, and socializing, with training programs designed by Sassuolo Calcio’s youth sector coaches.
Academy
The Academy area focuses on strengthening relationships and creating a network with amateur sports clubs by offering technical training.
Technical and tactical training
Instructors and coaches from sports clubs that choose to affiliate with Generazione S have the opportunity to participate in training days at Sassuolo Calcio’s facilities. The program allows instructors and coaches to watch the First Team and/or Primavera training sessions, participate in classroom sessions with the coach and technical staff of the First Team, participate in training days with the head of the Youth Sector and speakers from the world of professional football, and observe the training sessions of the Pulcini, Esordienti, Giovanissimi, and Allievi categories.
In addition, there will be a focus on the organization of the entire youth sector, training systems and methodologies, season and training session planning, as well as the technology and equipment used.
Use of the Generazione S logo and affiliate status
Affiliated clubs may use the Generazione S logo on all their promotional and communication materials.
