In recent days, Sassuolo had the pleasure of hosting Joe Montemurro, coach of the Australian women’s national team, accompanied by his assistant Emanuele Chiappero.

They were welcomed by Alessandro Terzi, Director of Women’s Football Development, and Alessandro Spugna, coach of the women’s first team. The visit was an opportunity to get to know the black&green organization up close and follow the team’s work, from the morning at Mapei Football Center to the afternoon at Enzo Ricci Stadium.

Montemurro and Chiappero had the opportunity to meet Jessika Nash and Jacynta Galabadaarachchi, the new Australian players who arrived during the summer transfer window to strengthen the black&green squad, both of whom are already key players for the Matildas.

Before leaving, the guests were presented with a customized Sassuolo jersey.
