U.S. Sassuolo Calcio announces the signing of Fali Candé (defeder, 1998) from Venezia FC.

Born in Bissau (Guinea-Bissau) on January 24, 1998, Candé grew up playing football in Portugal, wearing the jerseys of several youth teams until he started playing in Primeira Liga with Portimonense, where he collected 47 appearances and 3 goals.

In January 2022 he moved to France at Metz, playing over 80 games between Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 where he became known for his qualities in aerial play and build-up from behind. He arrived in Italy in January 2025 at Venezia FC, immediately making a name for himself the second part of the Serie A championship with 17 appearances and 1 goal.

A pillar of the Guinea-Bissau national team, Candé earned 27 appearances between World Cup Qualifiers and the Afcon.
