U.S. Sassuolo Calcio announces the signing of Vasilije Adžić (midfielder, 2006) from Juventus, on loan until June 30th 2027, with option to buy and counter-option.

Born in Nikšić, in Montenegro, the 2006 midfielder stars playing football in his hometown with Polet Stars, before making a move to Budućnost: with the withe and blue he makes his debuts at 16, scoring just after 9 minutes, becoming the second youngest goalscorer ever in the Montenegrin first division.

In his first season, Adžić collects 23 appearances with 3 goals and 3 assists, winning the league. The following year Vasilije takes his place in the midfield becoming a starter: 42 caps, 7 goals and 4 assists with a debut in the Conference League qualification round.

His performances attract Juventus, that decides to buy him in August 2024, and since the beginning the bianconeri decide to make him part of both the Under 23 and the first team: in October Vasilije makes his debut in Serie A and Champions League. With Juventus Next Gen 4 goals in 10 games during the 24/25 season, from which he becomes part of the first team and finds his first goal in the stoppage time in the Derby d’Italia.

Part of the youth Teams for Montenegro since the Under 15, with which he scores 11 in 35 games, Vasilije finds his first goal in his first appearances with the Senior team against Armenia in 2025.
