The “four-legged goal” project, launched in November 2024, was born with the intention of carrying out a concrete initiative for the territory, constantly promoting, through the club’s media channels, the adoption of the unfortunate guests of “Punto&Virgola“, the Formigine-Magreta animal shelter.

Many of the animals inside the shelter have had a difficult past made of abandonment, mistreatment and illness and therefore adoption is the first step to offer them a new life and new opportunities.

Through the videos and photos taken together with the black&green players, the stories of these cats and dogs were told. Since the beginning of the project, 17 calls have been published, and 7 animals have found a new home (others are in the pre-adoption phase) with a success rate of 41%.

The project, which was carried out concretely through adoptions, has been a real success and at the same time proved to be a great means of highlighting the players of Sassuolo Calcio by underlining their most sensitive and human aspects.
