Yesterday saw the return round of Group C of the eSerie A Goleador 2026 tournament, in which Sassuolo eSports – represented by Samuele “Samugamer_07” Prestigiacomo, Jeff “Jeff” Newton and coach Marco “Mexican28” Castelli – faced Bologna eSports, Fiorentina eSports and AS Roma eSports.

A sportingly fruitful afternoon for Sassuolo, which won two of the three matches, with scores of 5-1 against Bologna and 4-1 against Fiorentina, in addition to the painless defeat of 5-1 against Roma. Thanks to these results, Sassuolo eSports finished the group in first position, with 15 points, qualifying directly for the Final Eight. The next event will take place on 1 May 2026 at the Comicon in Naples.
