U.S. Sassuolo Calcio announces the signing of Kakari Ibrahim Sulemana (midfielder, 2003) from Atalanta, on loan with option to buy until June 30 2027.

Born in Sunyani in Ghana, Ibrahim begins with football in his hometown, until 2019 when he takes part in some trials in Italy. Here, Atalanta notices him and includes him in the Under 17 of the club, and after two seasons he joins Hellas Verona’s youth sector.

Sulemana gains his first calls in the Serie A for the 22/23 season, where he debuted against Salernitana and plays all 90 minutes in the playout against Spezia played at Mapei Stadium, at the end of which the blue and yellow maintain their place in the league.

In summer 2023 Cagliari acquires him and in January he finds his first goal, the following year he goes back to Atalanta, and scores the decisive goal for the Champions League qualification. In 2025 he joins Bologna on loan and later Cagliari: 16 games and one goal.

The first call from Ghana arrives in 2024 for the World Cup qualifiers, and Ibrahim debuts n June against Mali: since that day, another 6 appearances.
