Mapei Stadium – Città del Tricolore, Generazione S, the social responsibility project of U.S. Sassuolo Calcio, and Vinavil, a company of the Mapei Group, are sponsors of the Internazionale Kids Festival, taking place from May 8 to 10 in Reggio Emilia. For the 2026 edition, Mapei Stadium and Generazione S are once again supporting the event and its programme for children, joined for the first time by Vinavil, which is contributing to the workshop activities by also providing the vinyl glue.
Mapei Stadium will host one of the events on the programme: on Sunday May 10 at 11.00 am, ‘TV Series – Good and Evil’ is scheduled, a discussion conceived and led by journalist Valentina Pigmei, dedicated to themes such as growing up, relationships and choices. Drawing on examples from much-loved and popular series, the session invites participants to reflect on friendship and conflict, relationships with others and the ability to distinguish between good and evil, using a language close to everyday experiences of younger generations. At the end of the event, thanks to the tours organised by Generazione S, participants will have the opportunity to explore the Mapei Stadium and discover its most hidden corners, from the stands to the pitch.
On Saturday May 9, in the afternoon, Generazione S will be present in the historic centre of Reggio Emilia with two play areas and activities designed for children. Through playful and participatory activities, children will be able to explore movement and creativity: on the one hand, ball games led by sports educators to practise ball control and shooting; on the other, an expressive workshop dedicated to imagining and drawing the world we want, giving shape to the real actions we can take to help the environment.
“As Mapei Stadium, we are delighted to once again support the Internazionale Kids Festival, a space for listening, discussion and imagination, where young people can approach the world with curiosity and a critical spirit. We are proud that Vinavil, another company of the Mapei Group, is also contributing to this year’s edition by providing the glue to give shape to creativity. “We believe that offering children opportunities for interaction and discovery means investing in the future of our communities, starting from the local area where we operate every day, with education, culture and dialogue at the centre,” says Simona Giorgetta, sole director of Mapei Stadium.
“We are actively participating in Internazionale Kids again this year,” says Angelo Carbone, Head of the Youth Sector at US Sassuolo Calcio. “ The positive values of sport should be the ones that guide young people as they grow and in their everyday lives, and through the Generazione S project we aim to bring these values into every aspect of our young people’s daily lives. Last year we welcomed many children and their families, and this year as well we will be present in a cultural setting like this, offering playful and educational experiences for younger participants. Taking part, and above all playing an active role in this context, is something that makes us very proud”.
The events at the Mapei Stadium – “TV Series – Good and Evil” and “Sunday in the Stands” – are free, as are all the Festival’s events and workshops; however, registration on Eventbrite is required to attend.
