U.S. Sassuolo Calcio announces the permanent signing of
Meret Günster.

Born in 2003, the midfielder gained experience in Germany with Dinslaken, Duisburg and Nürnberg, where she spent the last two seasons before embarking on her first experience abroad with Sassuolo. During her career, she represented Germany at U17 and U19 level and made her Bundesliga debut at the age of 16, scoring her first goal in the top flight on the same occasion.

“I chose Sassuolo partly because of the Club’s ambitions, but above all because of the feeling I had from the very beginning. Everyone I met was open and welcoming, and I immediately felt at ease. This is my first experience abroad, and I am very happy to discover a new country and a new culture, while giving my all to achieve success with the team.”
