Sassuolo Calcio is pleased to announce that, thanks to the sale of calendars created as part of the project “Un gol a quattro zampe” (A four-legged goal), it has raised a total of €10,540.
The entire proceeds were donated to the “Associazione 4 Zampe per l’Emilia ODV” charity, which provides care, shelter, and rehabilitation for the animals housed at the “Punto&Virgola” dog and cat shelter in Magreta.
On the occasion of the Sassuolo–Cagliari match, President Carlo Rossi and CEO Giovanni Carnevali presented the check to the President of the Association, Caterina Chillon and to the board member and referent for the project, Serena Ricchi.
In a letter of thanks, the President highlighted the value of the collaboration, emphasizing that the project represents an important opportunity for visibility and provides tangible support for animals awaiting a second chance. She also expressed her appreciation for the sensitivity and commitment shown in supporting the initiative, which helps promote greater awareness of animal welfare and responsible adoption.
The donated funds will be used to pay for veterinary care, to purchase new cages for animals requiring specific monitoring, and to provide food for dogs and cats with special nutritional needs.
A heartfelt thank you to all our fans and animal lovers who contributed to the success of the initiative.
