Sassuolo Primavera still under the lead of Emiliano Bigica. After the last wonderful season where the young Black&greens make it all the way to the semifinals for the league title, the elite of Sassuolo Calcio’s youth teams is getting ready to start the 2023/24 season. Manager Emiliano Bigica will still be at the helm of the team, reappointed by Francesco Palmieri after his excellent work over the past few years.
For Bigica, one of the most prepared and experienced coaches in the youth field, this will be the fourth season leading the black&green Primavera team.
And, as for the first team, the summer training camp of Bigica’s boys will take place in Sterzing. The new season will kick off on July 19 and 20 with medical exams and Mapei tests at the Mapei Sport Research Center in Olgiate Olona then, from Friday, July 21, gathering and start of training sessions at Ricci Stadium in Sassuolo where the black&green Primavera will train until the morning of July 27.
The departure for Sterzing-Racines training camp is scheduled on July 27 (afternoon), where the Black&greens will stay until Thursday, August 3. There will be 2 friendly games in South Tyrol: Friday, July 28 at 5 p.m. in Sterzing Sassuolo-Inter, Thursday, August 3 at 6 p.m. in Folgaria Hellas Verona-Sassuolo.
